British singer/songwriter Yusuf Cat Stevens is supporting children's food charity Magic Breakfast's latest campaign, calling on Parliament to pass the School Breakfast Bill, to ensure 'schools in England with disadvantaged pupils have the long-term support they need to provide free and nutritious breakfasts to all children at risk of hunger'.
The Father and Son hitmaker is urging people to write to their local MP and support the Bill at magicbreakfast.eaction.org.uk/sbb, and he said 'The School Breakfast Bill has the potential to change the lives of millions of children in the UK. Having this Bill passed, we can make sure that every needy child will be given a free breakfast at the start of the school day'.
